Couldn't happen to a better guy. Welcome to the board. Moved your topic over to Football Chat as strictly not really Aberdeen related Quote

donsdaft Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 Couldn't happen to a bigger arsehole. Strange statement regarding the NEXT game though. Mind you, it gives their fans the chance to sing Cheerio Cheerio at him I suppose. Quote

Mind you, it gives their fans the chance to sing Cheerio Cheerio at him I suppose. True enough one of my mates is a York city fan, haven't spoken about jaclyn in a while. Trust his level of hate will be on par with ours now Quote
Donser AFC Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 Aye, couldn't happen to a nicer arsewipe, never forgive him for that QOTS semi, wagethief..... Quote
Jute Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 Just a surprise it's taken York so long to find the cunt out. Quote
manc_don Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 Just a surprise it's taken York so long to find the cunt out. They were already shite, so probably blended in quite easily. Quote
Guest azazel Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 What if they win the next game? Is his resignation pending until they lose again? Or does a win on Saturday wipe the slate clean? What a fud but we knew that already. Quote
BigAl Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 See they only drew. Is he away yet ? Quote
TheDeeDon Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 See they only drew. Is he away yet ? Nae sure but the bigger question is will he come up up the road via train? Quote
OxfordDon Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 See they only drew. Is he away yet ? Given his record, a draw with a part-time team would probably be deemed a "positive result", so presumably he's staying Quote
manc_don Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 Nae sure but the bigger question is will he come up up the road via train? Haha! Bravo Quote
simarooskimoose Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Appears they've sacked him, but are keeping him on until they find a replacement Fairly bizarre situation. Find it weird the way they've done it all so publicly as well, with the endless statements on the website - you don't often hear clubs actually saying "win at the weekend or you're toast pal" out loud in front of everyone http://www.yorkcityfootballclub.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/club-statement-3355275.aspx Quote
Calabarboy Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Utterly bizarre and hopefully that's Jacqueline's last gig anywhere. Will miss him though if only for the entertainment value. Quote
cupidstunt Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Nae sure but the bigger question is will he come up up the road via train? train was the last thing he did when he used to come up the road before. Quote
Mr Grim Posted October 11, 2016 Report Posted October 11, 2016 Will be interesting to see the weegie media start to hype him up. All negative stuff will be erased. No one from the sellick family is ever projected in a bad light. victim pr department will be on it as we speak. Quote
manc_don Posted October 16, 2016 Report Posted October 16, 2016 I see they've reappointed an ex manager and jaclyn becomes chief executive!?! Why not just ditch the fucker? Quote
Mr Grim Posted October 16, 2016 Report Posted October 16, 2016 Insanity. He must have something on the owner. Quote
cupidstunt Posted October 16, 2016 Report Posted October 16, 2016 York City fans seem to think he's invested in the club. They are 4m or so in the red. He's either invested or they can afford to bin him so they've sidelined him. Quote
OxfordDon Posted October 16, 2016 Report Posted October 16, 2016 I'm guessing it's the only way they could get him out the manager's seat as they couldn't afford the severance remuneration. I think "investment" might be a bit of wishful thinking on York fans' part - he's just picking up a CEO's salary now instead of a manager's one. Shows how desperate York were to get his hands off the team though that they took this step Quote
BigAl Posted October 17, 2016 Report Posted October 17, 2016 You'd have thought it would have been more worth their while for the fans to have a whip round and then drive him to the train station Quote
