Superstar Tradesman Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Anyone actually give a fuck or are we all going into the game with the same gusto as the players have been showing recently? Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I really just can't get excited about this at all. I thought last Tuesday was bad (and it was, and still is), but I fear that come Friday morning we could be a laughing stock. Quote
TheChimp Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Ask me on Thursday. Once a beer hits my lips I'm sure I'll be well up for it. Quote
Stewart Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Going to the pub before the game so I'm sure I'll be up for it by 6pm. Quote
El Padre™ Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 The aggregate score for this will hit double figures, I've no doubt about it. Quote
TheChimp Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 The amount of beers consumed over the 2 legs could possibly hit triple figures. Quote
manc_don Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I don't care about the result. Its a one off home game. I'm sure they will actually try their hardest for a change. I'm not going with any expectations, just to enjoy myself. Much like I tried to make the best of a bad situation on sunday, and chanted who are are at the celtic fans in the pub when we scored, and shouted ole everytime we touched the ball. A good time can and shall be had! Quote
stonefish100 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Least important game of the season for us IMO. I'm still hurting badly from last Tuesday and cant really be assed with Thursday. To help ease the inevitable pain I'll be lumping big on Bayern, free money. Very tempted to go big on HT/FT as well. Quote

stonefish100 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 What odds you getting on that? Getting 11/10 with Lads for Bayern/Bayern or 7/2 for draw/Bayern. Doubling your money for Bayern/Bayern is too good to pass up. Quote

Ajja Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I wouldn' be so hasty. I'm not up for this game at all. Mainly because my 'up for it' currency has been spent over Christmas and beyond with inept performance after inept performance. However, I have no doubt in my mind we will see a different Aberdeen on Thursday, that almost fucking irritates me more than the laissez faire attitude on Tuesday last week. Hold that bet Quote

Hold that bet Aye I'm making my way up for this game and have yet to see Aberdeen lose "live" since moving away fae Aiberdeen. Then again if the planes trains and automobiles da go to plan I may not make it and we'll lose anyway. However I may now have jinxed my odd run... Quote
Guest BTR Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I'm pretty well up for it. Given the last 7 days that probably makes me sound like a daftie but I think we'll put on a good show on Thursday. You're only as good as your last game and all that but the past is the past. If the boys are professional enough I can see us sneaking a wee result. Yeah the're top of the Bundesliga etc but if we can sneak a draw it'll mean us fans will go over to Munich in high spirits. On the night anything can happen - I don't think any of us truly believed we'd put four past Copenhagen, so let's not write ourselves off and get up for Pittodrie's biggest night of the 21st century!!! Mon the Dons! Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Beer will be drank, we will be humped, it will be a hoot in Munich. All of that would still apply were we in great form guys. But the whipping we will get is gonna be damn painful. Get pissed. Quote
