Leftside Posted June 19, 2017 Report Posted June 19, 2017 £690 return at the moment via Tashkent. But can you get an Uzbek visa in time? Quote
100% Anti Kingsford Posted June 19, 2017 Report Posted June 19, 2017 If you are transferring on a flight you don't need a visa. remain in the airport. But yes it means you to need to fly London-Tashkent-Almaty-Shymkent. It takes 4 days to get a Visa for Uzbekistan, maybe 3 days express. Quote
Stewart Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 Home leg confirmed as 13th July. http://www.afc.co.uk/news/9712.php Quote
100% Anti Kingsford Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 Siroki Brijeg now play Ordabasy at home next week 1st leg - 29th. Swap occurred. We may have a good indication next week of whom is the better team. Also Ordabasy have never won a home game in European football. Given they have to play a home game 600km from normal ground you'd hope if Siroki win next week that is us playing them. Quote
manc_don Posted June 29, 2017 Report Posted June 29, 2017 So, here's hoping for a good Siroki win tonight. Oh and a St. Johnstone win along with Niederkorn Quote
100% Anti Kingsford Posted June 29, 2017 Report Posted June 29, 2017 Kairet Almaty won 6-0. Haugasund are up 7-0 v Coleraine. Shkendija won 3-0. Still 0-0 Siroki Brijeg Quote
100% Anti Kingsford Posted June 29, 2017 Report Posted June 29, 2017 Siroki Brijeg 2 v Ordabasy 0 HT. Siroki Brijeg to me look ok and have dangerous players. Quote
OxfordDon Posted June 29, 2017 Report Posted June 29, 2017 Which is which? The ones in blue look gash, the ones in white fractionally less gash. Quote
donsdaft Posted June 29, 2017 Report Posted June 29, 2017 Bosnians in blue. Best not to draw conclusions this early in the season Quote
OxfordDon Posted June 29, 2017 Report Posted June 29, 2017 Only saw the last 20 minutes, but it was like watching 22 Ash Taylors. Quote
100% Anti Kingsford Posted June 29, 2017 Report Posted June 29, 2017 FT Siroki Brijeg 2 v Ordabasy 0. Kazak team are not up to much, and the Bosnian team have far more threatening players. Ordabasy have never won a game in Europe and play 2nd leg 600km from home ground. Bar a collapse its Bosnians. And they are not up to much but not bad. Quote
Nips_and_Tatties Posted June 29, 2017 Report Posted June 29, 2017 Only saw the last 20 minutes, but it was like watching 22 Ash Taylors. A bucket of drunken legs. Quote
thegrunter Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 Just got an e-mail from AFC giving me till next Thursday 5.30pm to reserve my seat at a discounted price. Perfectly reasonable except the time of KO is not confirmed. BBC website shows 17.00 TBC Quote
RicoS321 Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 Saw that, I've sent the ticket office an email to check. Haven't heard back yet... Quote
100% Anti Kingsford Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 Siroki Brijeg will get through bar a daft collapse. They all are mostly Croats in the team. 98% of the population of that town is Croatian. Having looked at them its a similar match opposition wise to the one v Shkendija. They are very very beatable. Quote
RicoS321 Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 The first (penalty) was an atrocious attempt at a tackle, and the second was just embarrassing goalkeeping. Difficult to tell from the short clip, but anyone who has giant numbers and no names on their strips must be shite. 4-0 dons, Maloney hat-trick. Quote
manc_don Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 Into these fascist bastards. Jebes Hrvatska! Have a watched a couple of reels of highlights, we should have enough to deal with these guys. Quote
Slim Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 Tommy Wright happily saying that every team in the EL qualifiers are better technically than his team. I'd be embarrassed if he was our manager coming out with stuff like that. Quote
Tyrant Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 Tommy Wright happily saying that every team in the EL qualifiers are better technically than his team. I'd be embarrassed if he was our manager coming out with stuff like that. Saw that. Thank fuck we didn't land up wi' him this summer. Quote
LA-Don Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 That's one think DM does quite well, he's a smart media guy who tends to say the right thing. Regardless of what TW thinks I wouldn't be saying that publically about my players. Quote
Slim Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 It's straight out of Mark McGhee's "it's nae my fault, whit do you expect me to do?" book of shite excuses. Quote
wee toon red Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 Aye, he pointed out that some mob that knocked them out a few years ago were also miles better technically. Surely he should at least have attempted to do something about that since then? Quote
OxfordDon Posted July 6, 2017 Report Posted July 6, 2017 Good grief, i couldn't watch any more of that, i'm sticking with my original assessment of both teams. On that showing, i'd fancy our chances against Siroki (who were the marginally better side). They enjoy a good punt over the top, so if we still had Taylor i'd have given them half a chance, but they look pretty uncoordinated other than that. Ordabasy were eye-bleedingly awful, although kudos for the wild yet ninjalike goalline clearance by one of their players, like a startled gazelle on muscle relaxants. Quote
