No I'm not joking. We hardly touched the ball for the first 30 minutes.

After we scored the first goal, which was completely undeserved, we rallied for five minutes and looked like a half decent team.

But that was the only time. We were completely outclassed for 75 of the 90 minutes by a bunch of mainly journeymen.

If we lose to Israel, and they have a better head to head, then Clarke is losing my faith. He had a winning formula and now he's changed it and gone back to the Strachan and McGhee failed system of English lower league dross > Scottish premier league. I want players from the Scottish league, I don't want massively overpaid, overrated, big headed half Scottish guys from the English 2nd division like Grant Hanley.

McGinn mishit his overhead kick. Just as well.

Tup we were watching a different game then.

Austria werent that great.

And you saying McGinn's superb overhead kick was a misfit is simply ridiculous.

If you have that old negative, tunnel visioned opinion of the national side then fair enough.

I thought we played some very decent football against a very decent team and absolutely deserved a draw.

Hey ho.

Oh and remember, Hanley scored and played better after his yellow.

He used to be awful I agree but some credit where it's due.

Can we just dump Israel tonight and move on.

Theyll then need to try like fuck to win all their other games which might work in our favour.

Must attack them and go hard from the start but Clarke wont do that.

We have played Israel away twice. And lost twice.

I'm not sure where this new found confidence comes from. I'm sure Israel will easily make it 3 from 3 against us tonight.

Wrong

We have played Israel away five times

Three wins, two loses

Some strike

One down and not undeserved as we have been giving them far too much time and space on the ball.

Question is, could Marshall have done better ?

Having seen ita few times now, the answer is definitely

Answer yes.  It was a good strike but it only ended up in the top corner 'cos Marshall palmed it there.

Very poor first half Henry and Hanley are murder. Midfield is anonymous. Could end up losing by a few here.

As for goal Henry should have gone to lad who played pass but didn’t then Pertez was given all the time in the world to shoot. Even then Marshall should have saved it.

Aye I'm afraid tup could be right here.

Israel well up for this as to be expected and let's face it, they are a very good team.

They're easily beating us atm.

We have a goal in us but they have way too much possession.

Think they'll win 2-1 unfortunately.

Aye, must have been editing my post as you quoted it.

Definitely should have done better

It was a flat trajectory no bend and Marshall was very poor there imo.
