The main thing for the Dons is what we get as high a sell on fee as we can. It might take us closer to the fee we allegedly rejected from Aston Villa. Was it 20%? 25% sell on? 25% of the crazy prices they pay there could be about £2.5m-£3m for us Hibs will get a significant portion of McGinn's next move apparently, so if we've played our hand correctly then if McKenna is starting for his next club and earns a move then we might get another windfall. Also, it's a good advert for the dons. Unlike the dirty Hun Wright. Quote
tup1 Posted April 24, 2021 Report Posted April 24, 2021 He was easily our best player, and given the form afterwards, our only good player. Hoban is just rubbish by comparison. Quote
baggy89 Posted April 27, 2022 Report Posted April 27, 2022 See he's 3 wins from auto-promotion to EPL. Wonder what our clause is for that? Can then hope, he plays as well in there as he has in the championship, and he gets a EPL money move, with whatever add on that is. 2 Quote
wokinginashearerwonderland Posted January 2, 2023 Report Posted January 2, 2023 Noticed that McKenna has been on the bench since the league resumed in England. Putting two and two together but wondered whether he may be earmarked for a January transfer and they did not want him getting injured. Seems strange to have been dropped all of a sudden when he was such a constant on the Forest team sheet. Quote
BigAl Posted October 22, 2023 Author Report Posted October 22, 2023 Noticed that he currently isn't making the bench at Forest never mind starting games. Sure he wasn't pre the latest international break either so anyone got any idea what's going on ? Quote
tom_widdows Posted October 22, 2023 Report Posted October 22, 2023 Forest supporting cousin says its just down to the manager not picking him over the new signings. Burton Albion calling? Quote
BigAl Posted October 22, 2023 Author Report Posted October 22, 2023 Out of contract in the summer I think. That sell on windfall not looking so likely now Quote
OrlandoDon Posted November 5, 2023 Report Posted November 5, 2023 Not in the squad again today, currently 2 up against villa which would be a good result. Winter transfer on the cards to make some return rather than let him walk for free in the summer? Would certainly be nice to get some sort of sell on change! Quote
Jute Posted November 6, 2023 Report Posted November 6, 2023 Article below suggesting McKenna is out of team as he didn’t accept contract offer in the summer. https://www.nottinghamforest.news/2023/11/05/nottingham-forest-leave-26-year-old-stunned-and-he-could-now-make-january-exit/ Quote
BigAl Posted November 15, 2023 Author Report Posted November 15, 2023 Linked with Fenerbahce ALLEGEDLY. Quote
BigAl Posted December 7, 2023 Author Report Posted December 7, 2023 Now having to train with ex Hun Worrall on their own. Both to be sold in Jan window Quote
DantheDon Posted December 19, 2023 Report Posted December 19, 2023 That's cooper sacked. So maybe still a chance for McKenna at forest. Quote

Tbh Dan, not sure that it is down to Cooper that he hasn't been included of late. Think it might be more down to the egotistical Greek shipping magnate that owns the club Imagine that Cooper pretty much did as he was told Quote
Jute Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 Article in P & J suggesting that McKenna’s various add ons got the club an additional £1.75m. Quote
