OxfordDon Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 ...claim the bookies and tabloids. Getting touted as frontrunner, although I seriously doubt he would be that mad - he's outlasted 6 Sevco managers now. Six. Quote
BigAl Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Derek McInnes WILL NOT be the next Sevco manager Quote
OxfordDon Posted October 27, 2017 Author Report Posted October 27, 2017 Derek McInnes WILL NOT be the next Sevco manager I'd be inclined to agree, McInnes has already shown he wants to choose his next role carefully, and Sevco are a far larger basket case than Sunderland ever were. Quote
Ten Caat Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Sevco couldnt afford the release clause DM holding out for the West Brom job when it next comes up anyway Quote
BigAl Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Sevco couldnt afford the release clause DM holding out for the West Brom job when it next comes up anyway Very much this. Quote
donsdaft Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 But the Hun DESERVE him don't they? He's the OBVIOUS choice isn't he? Scottish football media make you want to puke. Even the decent ones believe deep down that Sevco should just be able to have what they want. Quote
Reidzer 1314 Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 I think he would be off his rocker to even consider taking that job. To be honest, I would say that compensation for McInnes must now sit around £1.5 Million, have Sevco even got that sort of cash to throw around?? Quote
Edinburghdon Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Derek McInnes WILL NOT be the next Sevco manager This (assuming he's picking his next role as carefully as he's made out). Also, Oxforddon... you're a dick. That title wasn't very nice Quote
gosgka Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 they won't go for McInnes they can't afford him, they will go for a cheaper guy with plenty of European experience Neil Lennon come on down Quote
Jute Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 they won't go for McInnes they can't afford him, they will go for a cheaper guy with plenty of European experience Neil Lennon come on down I think they will make an offer and then blame those nasty sheep shaggers when they cannot afford the compensation and have to employ some out of work explayer. donsdaft Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 they won't go for McInnes they can't afford him, they will go for a cheaper guy with plenty of European experience Neil Lennon come on down Of course in a normal country this wouldn't be seen as a joke suggestion. He's done a good job at Hibs and surely he would at least be in the frame. Have the bookies even mentioned him? No? I wonder why? Quote

No they haven't but then again the fact that Pedro was a Catholic is the reason he failed according to many of the unwashed. Quote

Ten Caat Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Just pray that Plymouth win tomorrow. Adams? I'd be over the moon if sevco were to offer him the job... Quote

francis_begbie Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 I mind a time when you could email sky bet with a name and they’d basically add him to the list. It’s time Lennon was on that list Quote
rocket_scientist Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 I hope McInnes gets offered the job. There is no doubt he will take it. The barman at my local and I know that we are in the minority. Since when did following the pack bring truth and enlightenment? Quote

Even the decent ones believe deep down that Sevco should just be able to have what they want. Excellent post DD. Nail on head. Tom English empathising with Willie Miller the other night regarding Souness’ comments about Scottish football needing a strong Rangers then talking McInnes up for the job is a bit hypocritical. rocket_scientist Posted October 28, 2017 Report Posted October 28, 2017 Sevco cannot afford the compo.... My hun mate is hoping for Mike Ashley to sell his stake in the Toon and invest in Rangurs. Apparently Ashley wants European football and this could be a platform for getting a business foothold abroad. I reckon that could be contrived thinking, particularly post Brexit. Most huns want big fat corroupt Sam. Quote
