manc_don Posted December 4, 2017 Report Posted December 4, 2017 I’d take Lennon but I don’t think he’d come i us. This lack of training facilities is a serious embarrassment. I doubt any manager with decent facilities would leave them for what we don’t have. Lennon is a proper cunt and that’s what this team needs, someone with the ability to put fire up their arse.
donsdaft Posted December 4, 2017 Report Posted December 4, 2017 They could have fire up their arses all you like. With a nauseating creep like that in charge they would be playing to crowds of 2000
scotfree Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 I'll be glad when this week is over and done with.
donsdaft Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 One Willie Miller, there's only one Willie Miller
Garlogie_Granite Posted December 6, 2017 Author Report Posted December 6, 2017 One Willie Miller, there's only one Willie Miller Added him to poll just for you
donsdaft Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Cheers min I've already voted for Potter
TheDeeDon Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Get Fergie back in until the end of the season with Robson and Sheerin assisting and ensure we don't start to regress as a team. Hopefully with a bit of guidance maybe Sheerin and RObson could give us some continuity in the long term. Never going to happen, but not much other names fill me with confidence. Lennon would be a good manager for us, but him and Milne would never get on and I suspect he wouldn't fancy it either, along with around two thirds of our supports. We need a manager who believes in youth development big style.
SeeBass Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 I've already shown my interest in the job with Dave McDermid via a private Facebook message. Would it be too early for Russell Anderson?? As a dark horse type shout how about the brothers who manage Lincoln City?? Or what is Eoin Jess doing nowadays??
BigAl Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Jack Ross. Potentially high risk, but also potentially high payback. As an aside added bonus of no affinity to either of the cheeks.
BobbyBiscuit Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Invite applications, see who applies and take it from there. The names being mentioned are thoroughly uninspiring.
donsdaft Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 The media will start to wind up the pressure to take Wright. Not good enough for them but good enough for us. Don't we know our place?
Ten Caat Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 As I said in another thread, with the compo rolling in we at least have to ask Lennon the question. I suspect he would say no but he has the correct attitude in standing up to the arse cheeks. Once he has been ruled out, Jack Ross for me. Risky to a degree as he is lacking in big match experience but so was our (and the world's) greatest ever manager when he got appointed almost 40 years ago....

Elgindon Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 just curious why folks think Lennon would come here.A sideways move for him IMO,and the fact he hates us?... no harm in trying like,but.....
Madbadteacher Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 No mention of Pulis, Bilic, De Boer etc, etc
Ten Caat Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 just curious why folks think Lennon would come here.A sideways move for him IMO,and the fact he hates us?... no harm in trying like,but..... Cash He a mercenary c@nt
SeeBass Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 How do you think Stevie May (brought in just a few months ago) and the squad in general are going to take this if Derek does go?? Will Kenny McLean be the only player leaving for Ibrox?? I'd be annoyed if Moult ended up there too.
Ten Caat Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 Suspect there will be a clause in his departure terms that bar sevco from bidding on our under contract players except those in last 6 months of their deals...ie MacLean can sign a precontract in Jan or full contract if fee agreed. Id expect him to try for Lewis in just over 12 months. Its no better than 50/50 that he will still be sevco boss by time Shinnie's contract is nearing completion...
Reidzer 1314 Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 Jack Ross seems to be a popular shout, I think he would be a decent choice personally.
donsdaft Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 If Moult goes to Ibrox in January I would be very interested in finding out who it was that decided he wasn't worth that extra £50- 100,00 in the summer.
KennyFuckinPowers Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 Paul Lambert anyone? Not sure if he would come but for me personally, a safer choice than Jack Ross, Tommy Wright etc.... Will feel he has some rebuilding of his reputation to do, much like McInnes I suppose in when he came back from Bristol City. That's who I would like before any of the other names mentioned.
Kowalski Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 John Collins spotted in Dobbies Lang Stracht buying a Xmas tree.
RicoS321 Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 That'd be disastrous (Collins). As would Lambert in my opinion. I'm not sure why. I think it's basically because he was a fashionable manager in the right place at the right time who seemed to get jobs on the back of his playing reputation before getting more jobs on the back of having the first job. But then I've no real experience of listening to the guy or seeing his teams play. Fuck it, Arild Stavrum. He'll dee.
Edinburghdon Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 The more I think about it the more I think that despite him being a horrible little cunt Neil Lennon would be a great appointment. Success with Celtic, manages a tight budget at hibs, chip on his shoulder and a point to prove to Celtic and hates rangers so no lying down to either of them, decent experience in Europe etc. He’s also a horrible wee shite which could rub off on some of our players. He hates us too so probably wouldn’t come and assume most fans would hate it but he’s better than many other names I’ve seen and I think I’d be in favour of going all in on him. Would certainly fix some of the flaws repeatedly shown by mcinnes. Alternatively I could be losing my mind successfully convincing myself it’s a good idea.
Garlogie_Granite Posted December 7, 2017 Author Report Posted December 7, 2017 It is Jack Ross chiels. All Bookies have pulled their markets down. Done deal.
