Guest kiriakovisthenewstrachan Posted April 24, 2019 Report Posted April 24, 2019 Man Utd 11/2 for a home win tonight. Easy money. City due to stumble. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted April 24, 2019 Report Posted April 24, 2019 Man Utd 11/2 for a home win tonight. Easy money. City due to stumble. Lightning can't strike twice... surely? The 15/1 for Newcastle was preposterous. I'll go for 1-3 @ 12/1 but it is an amazing price for a home win at Old Trafford, possibly the highest this century! Quote
Guest kiriakovisthenewstrachan Posted April 24, 2019 Report Posted April 24, 2019 If you don't go out on the branch, you're never going to get the best fruit Quote
rocket_scientist Posted April 24, 2019 Report Posted April 24, 2019 Branch strength assessment is all. Many a fruit-picker got fucked up the arse. Quote

tintin Posted April 25, 2019 Report Posted April 25, 2019 Well that is the nap in the 11:30 over 15miles hurdle... Quote
minijc Posted April 25, 2019 Report Posted April 25, 2019 Gun to my head I'd be backing Got Away in 3:15 and Guy e/w in the 4:45, Got away showing nice form of late only slight concern would be it just had a big run last week however it wouldn't be a surprise if it goes one better here. Quote
Guest kiriakovisthenewstrachan Posted April 26, 2019 Report Posted April 26, 2019 Liking the look of Steve Clarke to be next permanent Scotland manager at 5/1. Never normally bet on these kind of markets but this one looks pretty good value and worth a punt. Quote
Ten Caat Posted April 26, 2019 Report Posted April 26, 2019 Nah he's Fulham bound. Has stated quite categorically that he wants to return down south beside his family Quote
tintin Posted April 27, 2019 Report Posted April 27, 2019 Well got out of jail alive in Perth. Disappointing with withdrawals thus reducing fields to seven runners and e/w 1-2 The fav in the 11:30 won by some distance.. Quote
Guest kiriakovisthenewstrachan Posted May 3, 2019 Report Posted May 3, 2019 John Higgins 8-4 down in semi final of snooker. Get your money on him at 31/20. Only a matter of time. Quote
Ten Caat Posted May 3, 2019 Report Posted May 3, 2019 10-6 now and he played like a dog....should really have been 11-5 down. Dramatic improvement required, as it stands I think the bookies have got him underpriced Quote
Guest kiriakovisthenewstrachan Posted May 3, 2019 Report Posted May 3, 2019 He'll get better. Only half time. Quote

Guest kiriakovisthenewstrachan Posted June 5, 2019 Report Posted June 5, 2019 Going for Portugal to win in 90 mins tonight and Ronaldo to score at any point 17/10 Quote
Guest kiriakovisthenewstrachan Posted June 6, 2019 Report Posted June 6, 2019 21/10 on Holland to beat our friends from the south in 90 minutes tonight Quote
rocket_scientist Posted June 6, 2019 Report Posted June 6, 2019 21/10 on Holland to beat our friends from the south in 90 minutes tonight I backed Holland to win in 90 minutes @ 10/1 when they were 1-0 down. Slightly bittersweet to see that goal just now in extra time. Was it fuck. Fucking lurveley. GIRFUY Engerlund. This commentator kills me. Quote
Guest kiriakovisthenewstrachan Posted June 11, 2019 Report Posted June 11, 2019 Any optimists out there taking a punt on a Scotland draw tonight at 7/1? or is everyone just going all in for a famous win at 20/1? Quote
SeeBass Posted July 7, 2019 Report Posted July 7, 2019 I did myself over on the horses yesterday. Was going to do a 25p e/w Lucky 15 on four ITV Racing televised races at Sandown. I'd picked three (6/1) shots in Caspian Prince which drifted to (11/1) and was placed third, then Hidden Message which came into (9/4) FAV in the morning but wasn't allowed to take 6's as wasn't in till apparently and he won his race, plus Regal Reality who also went out in betting to (17/2) before placing third and finally took Escobar at (20/1) that finished no less than a length behind winner in 2nd after being backed into (12/1). I did 50p Win Lucky 15 meaning only Hidden Message at (9/4) will be paid out on!!!! If I'd have done e/w like I intended with (20/1) Escobar, been given (6/1) on Hidden Message yesterday morning that I saw on screen in shop, then got given the drifted prices of Regal Reality and Caspian Prince regarding best odds guaranteed I believe I'd have got an extra £70 on top of our single selections. Even if I had the prices given in two (6/1) 3rd's the (20/1) second and (9/4) FAV winner still talking a top up of £31ish. Quote
Guest kiriakovisthenewstrachan Posted July 19, 2019 Report Posted July 19, 2019 Jordan Speith 8/1 in play Quote
rocket_scientist Posted July 20, 2019 Report Posted July 20, 2019 Jordan Speith 8/1 in play The bookies aren't stupid. 800/1 now isn't even good value. My 3/1 on Brooks placed on Friday should've been stronger but for him missing putts all day. Finally got one at 14 though but Shane the man in pole position. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted August 13, 2019 Report Posted August 13, 2019 A guy in our local cashed out a £5 sixfold tonight for £517.26. If he had not, he would've lost a fiver as MK Dons conceded in the 94th minute. Remind me how the cash out function favours the bookies? Quote

Aye, but what would he hypothetically have got if MK Dons hadn't scored? Because that's the really important number. Quote
