Superstar Tradesman Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 Has anyone that attended the match in Munich watched it on the box since they returned? Was just wondering if your views have changed on any of the 'incidents'? Does it look/sound any different to how you remembered it? Did anything happen that you didn't see during the game? Obviously there'll be a few things that you don't remember due to the carnage in the square beforehand. Quote

Obviously there'll be a few things that you don't remember due to the carnage in the square beforehand. For example, the train journey, the warm up, the teams coming out, and the first half. And I'm nae joking. Quote
Kowalski Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 I watched it when I got back. It just confirmed to me that Langfield had a howler for the first two goals. And it also amazed me that the slowest professional footballer ever, managed to get himself offside when Mackie scored. The whole occasion looked great on tv. Good to see Eric Black wheeled out for Setanta's coverage. Quote

Ajja Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 On a side note. Sporting Lisbon gave these guys a good game in the CL. 12-1 on agg, you don't see that in the later stages of Europes premium tournament very often. Quote
