Jute Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Utter shite from almost everyone in Red. Another spineless display against a top 6 team. Cannot see us picking up many points post split. Quote
manc_don Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Had to wake up early and thought I’d watch the replay on alba...ffs. Back to their usual bottling selves. This is an awful watch. Why make those changes? Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Was Stewart injured? If not, that was an utterly baffling change. The only player who looked composed on the ball, who wanted it and looked to link the play. Thought Arnason was good when he came on, but pretty much everyone else was poor. The fullbacks are giving us nothing going forward which is making things very hard for us. Shinnie, as someone said, totally anonymous, O'Connor offered us nothing in midfield and McGinn doesn't look fit - the sharpness just isn't there. Hearts back three will have few easier afternoons. At two down, we did nothing that was different, we just persevered with the same old shape and same old tactics. It's bewildering, and for a manager like Levein it just plays into his hands. He knows how to get his team through matches like that and that's exactly what he did. Losing at Tynecastle is not the end of the world, but we have to step it up next week. Quote
A llad insane Posted April 8, 2018 Report Posted April 8, 2018 Really poor display yesterday. 2 poor teams tbh! but at least they managed 2 shots on target Seemed to remember 1 decent effort in 2nd half ,that hit the woodwork. Forgot how much i hate Naismith by the way (little scrote). We need more bite in midfield & more pace up front. All we seemed to do yesterday was pass sideways or backwards. Thought Arnason & GMS did quite well when they came on, Shinnie had another poor game & McLean had his 1st poor game for months. McGinn was lucky he wasnt hauled off after 20ms as he was that bad, Scott Wright will surely leave the club in Summer along with Rodgers. Big Scott McKenna looked a bit tired yesterday, understandable. D.M has his work cut out next week, if Nigerian lad doesnt feature, no McLean or Shinnie or Logan, god knows what the lineup will be like Heres hoping we can pull it out the bag next week Quote
