LA-Don Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 First McLean, then Logan. Odds on Shinnie getting the third? Quote
Lencarl Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Never in doubt. : 4 games left we can mathematically still win the league. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Goal Scorers thread not updated yet? Scandalous! Quote
Dunty Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Kilmarnock are our bitches. Big three points though. Killie are capable of taking points off Hibs and Rangers. Quote
TheDeeDon Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Never doubted us with that line up. A good win and back up to second place, it's a pity Celtic or Rangers couldn't be more like Killie for us. No doubt the diets will roll over for the real huns tomorrow, but glad we got that win in light of hibs getting a result today. Quote
tlg1903 Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 No chance, Levein will have them playing their usual murderball but it would be hilarious if Naismith scored. They hate him for leaving. Quote
A llad insane Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Not long back, nice sunny day in Killie & a rather comfortable afternoon for the dons. Result was never in doubt tbh! Top dons for me McLean,Stewart,Reynolds &McKenna. Seen us play a lot better, but still a big 3 points Quote
manc_don Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Excellent news to wake up to. Heard Logan had his first decent performance of the season today ! Hopefully this’ll be a crucial win to get their confidence off to a flying start. Need build some form for this run in. How was o’connor Received by the fans today Quote
LA-Don Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 How did we line up?? Logan, Shinnie, O’Connor, Ball, Reynolds, McKenna, I assume it wasn’t a back 6... Quote
Lencarl Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 Enjoy....... https://youtu.be/p1nBgdNQHRc Quote
Ten Caat Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 How did we line up?? Logan, Shinnie, O’Connor, Ball, Reynolds, McKenna, I assume it wasn’t a back 6... Back 4 with Reynolds at left back; Ball and Shinnie in midfield. By all accounts Reynolds was ok and Ball played well in his proper role. Quote
Elgindon Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 We seem to keep picking up these kinds of wins.Hard to believe we could be on course for a similarish points total as the previous 4 or 5 years,ie early to mid 70s despite the dour performances. Huns - Hearts 0-0 HT Quote
KennyFuckinPowers Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 Looks to me like a stonewall penalty against GMS Anyway, good 3 points. Quote
TheDeeDon Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 JUst saw the highlights, Good goal from Kenny, but their goalie should be ashamed at that one. We are seeing the best of Kenny McLean now, whether that's because Norwich are watching him regular i don't know but seeing more of the player I remember from St Mirren rather than the player we have seen for most of his time here. Was a typical McInnes tactic, backing his player regardless Quote

Yeah, that's him on 10 for the season, that's the kind of tally I thought we'd get from him each season but the consistency just wasn't there. He's been one of the shining lights in the second half of the season. Quote

He's been one of the shining lights in the second half of the season. Have to agree. His lack of goals has been the biggest disappointment about his time at Aberdeen for me. Now looking like the player I thought we had signed. Just a shame he is leaving. Will be very difficult to replace. Quote
