Lencarl
SFA chief executive Ian Maxwell has revealed next season’s Scottish Cup Final could move to an evening kick-off time. Maxwell saying this is to appease the TV companies and get more money from them. Not sure if that will be the case but will not go down well for fans travelling from Aberdeen on a weekend. But fans do not count as per usual. PS The only club this will NOT effect will be Sevco...every cloud
Ramperbamper
Far rather evening kick offs than early kick offs, albeit the cup final should stay where it is.

Loving your optimism that we will be in next season's cup final, Lencarl.
Jute
Why would moving to evening kick off help viewing figures. It would put us in direct competition with FA cup for starters.
Ten Caat
Why would moving to evening kick off help viewing figures. It would put us in direct competition with FA cup for starters. Unless they move back to the 3pm slot vacated by us....
tom_widdows
Is this perhaps a response to a potential UEFA plot to have the Champions League final kick off at 3pm GMT saturday kick off?
Guest kiriakovisthenewstrachan
Folk are jumping on the bandwagon a bit on this one. Maxwell really only said we cannot be rigid with something like the kick off time at the detriment of putting off potential sponsors and that we had to be open minded to these things when going into negotiations with sponsors and TV companies. RicoS321
Is this perhaps a response to a potential UEFA plot to have the Champions League final kick off at 3pm GMT saturday kick off? Sounds about right. Why the fuck we should let that shite interfere with our game, I've nae idea. Time to cut those corrupt cunts adrift (they can keep the Tims if they like). That said, I've no real issues with the later kick off. Given the final is on BBC though, I've no idea why we'd be changing the kick off time as we're really only aiming at the UK market for TV. Nobody in any other country will give a fuck about the Scottish Cup final. It's such a "more of the same" move though from the new cunt in charge for his first suggestion (or whatever we want to call it). We need to begin to re-define the game in this country first before we start pretending that we're something beyond these borders. It's such a fucking Regan/Doncaster move, it's boring as fuck.
