Started the match with Frank Ross, Lewis Ferguson & Scott Wright as the 3 behind Rooney & young Dean Campbell partnering Shinnie. Devlin started alongside McKenna and played 60 minutes I think?

A win, a clean sheet & debuts for our new additions ( and a goal from one of them )  so all in all, happy days.

Going to head up tomorrow to see what new lads look like. Was hoping we would have more in by now but looks like we have missed out on a couple of targets recently so are playing catch up now. Falkirk should provide a decent test. Hopefully Arbroath have the steak and black pudding pies on the go.

In

Lift up then hopefully pint across the road from ground.

Halfway line

Lift down the road

Hopefully a Dons win.

From the new guys was impressed with Forrester who looks like he can play and he made some great passes. Gleeson was neat and tidy with the ball and rarely gave it away. Always making himself available to receive the ball. Lewis Ferguson also looked good. Made some decent runs and obviously scored. Of the games itself I know it was preseason but concern was we again created very little and outside the goal rarely troubled the Falkirk keeper. Not helped by having Cosgrove as the main striker. Cannot fault his work rate but he is not a footballer and rarely got himself into positions where he could hurt Falkirk.

First time I have ever been to Arbroath and not come away with at least mild hypothermia.

Never mind all that irrelevant pish, Jute. Did you get a pie?

3rd pre season game today in Perth. No new signings in this week is a bit disappointing. Always find it a bit odd that we play another team from our league in preseason. £15 in today is a bit steep for a friendly but it is a testimonial I suppose.

In

Lift up and pint in stadium bar if there in time.

Away end

Lift back to capital

Hopefully another win with few more chances created than Wednesday

Decent enough performance, Jute?

Some good individual performances from Wright and Ferguson but felt we looked ropey at back at times especially when St J came down our flanks. May took his goal well and looked better than he did on Wednesday.

Game against Caley on Wednesday cancelled due to injuries picked up today.

Bodes well... did Devlin play after picking up a knock last week? Good to see Scott Wright getting a game and a goal.

Devlin played most of game. Only subbed towards the end. Took a hefty challenge but seemed to be fine.

I thought wright was excellent today. Really hoping he gets his chance this season.

Pleased to hear it. Was gutted last season didn’t turn out the way we thought it would for him. Hopefully he comes back stronger this season. Lord knows we need a bit more quality on the wings.
