BigAl Posted August 10, 2018 Report Posted August 10, 2018 Into administration first thing this morning By 10am bought by Mike Ashley who already held a 11% stake in the business. Got to laugh about Ashley's acquisition as just had a Hun tell me that that is House of Fraser blacklisted as far as they're concerned now. Doubt your typical Hun has ever set foot in one of their stores, far less actually ever purchased anything there Quote
BigAl Posted August 10, 2018 Author Report Posted August 10, 2018 That'll be why Benitez didn't get any decent money to spend during the transfer window Quote
Ten Caat Posted August 10, 2018 Report Posted August 10, 2018 So bought out of administration before being liquidated? Ah well at least they can say with certainty that they are the same shop as before.... Quote

CvB Posted August 10, 2018 Report Posted August 10, 2018 He'll probably rename it House of Ashley and just fill it to the rafters with shite from Champion and Lonsdale. Quote

Kowalski Posted October 25, 2018 Report Posted October 25, 2018 Debenhams to shut 50 stores. Would be a shambles for the Trinity Centre! Time for councils to look at helping high street stores compete against online shopping, or online sites to be taxed more? Or both?! Quote
donsdaft Posted October 27, 2018 Report Posted October 27, 2018 Time for counsellors to jump off Union Terrace Bridge. It's them bastards that just kept on building new shopping centres. Quote
