Fucking shite. Treated it like it was away to the Ugly Sisters, totally shot ourselves in the foot & could see their goal coming a mile away. 2 points dropped without question, yet we still go unbeaten. Very mixed emotions but feel that was winnable and we've thrown it away.

Didn't deserve to win that, Hibs all over us for the last half hour worryingly we just couldn't keep the ball at all and the equaliser was no surprise when it came. Still a point at Easter Road is never a bad result

Correct, passes were lazy and laboured. I'm still mixed as you're right to point out that a draw isn't a bad result away to Hibs, but we threw it away, that's what really pissing me off. It was their CB Hanlon putting the ball across for the equaliser, not from a set piece or that, he was just free in the box at the back post because GMS committed to a loose ball that he was never winning.

After the goal we just wanted to hold the 1-0.

All Hibs for the last 15 minutes.

A draw is a good result considering we gave up trying to attack them.

GMS had a lucky escape there, should have been a red card.

P.S...... DM get that blue top to f*ck and NEVER wear it again ever.

I didn’t see the game and didn’t even need to read all your comments. Expected defensive shit DM tactics like we’re playing Barcelona and then saw we were one up so knew we’d be shit, sitting back trying to hold on. Sound about right??

Would have been a harsh red. Plus, the precedent was set with Morelos, violent conduct off the ball is a yellow card.

Thought we were shite.

Should have signed Mallan he  was as good breaking up play as he was appearing to play the final ball. Proper midfielder.

Gleeson is slow as fuck and looks soft in the challenge.

Ferguson and Devlin and Hoban were decent for us.

Looked like Logan was playing lb in the last five minutes

Because Considine was clearly struggling against Boyle, not Considine's fault, he's a CB as everyone on here as alluded too, yet he often gets hung out to dry against the speedy wide players of the opposition. Shinnie was non existent today, he was pish, he should have been left back as he's at the very least, a quicker player than Considine.

@Baggy, totally disagree regarding Hoban, he was laboured and clearly struggling, he constantly gave the ball away with poor, lazy passes and his goal aside, was one of the worse players on the park. Same category as Gleeson for me, he will turn out to be a good signing, but needs to get up to match fitness sharpish.

Got away with that one. Very poor performance which was mainly down to the bizarre tactics and team selection from McInnes. No idea why Logan did not start at right back or why he was not on earlier when it was clear Hoban was getting roasted by Hibs wide players. Only one of the midfielders who retained the ball was Gleeson so we took him off. Lastly why when we need a goal to win the game does McInnes bring on Cosgrove.

Wright took a sore one last week against St Mirren and was struggling a little before he came off so the injury must have kept him out today. Sounds like we struggled today, but tactics/line up sounded a tad weird, would have thought Logan would have been in at RB, but what the fuck do I know.

Still a point at Easter Road is not to be sniffed at, but we should have attacked them more instead of trying to hit them on the counter.

"We have been pretty shit against the teams that matter most in the league. That is where we should be judging on where we we need to improve, not getting carried away about thrashing a pish st Mirren"

FuD on The Hat.

So did a quick calculation and undeafeted in last eight games covering post split and start of this season.

16/24 points

All bar one against last season's top six and more than likely this season's top six.

I mean WTF..........

Some cunts in our support seriously need a reality check and be careful what they wish for.

Also wouldn't do them any harm to attend a game once in while

Just back in. Still cannot quite believe our shitty game management tactics that yet again fail against a team who we knew would attack non fucking stop.

Shinnie......one of his worst games in a Dons shirt. And another utterly pointless booking complaining about ref awarding Hibs a foul that even Colonel Blink would have awarded.

Hoban..... slow but hopefully will improve as he picks up his general and match fitness

May..... tried hard but match seemed to pass him by. Hitting hopeful long balls into the channels didn't help him though.

Gleeson.....best game he has had for us but worrying his batteries go flat after an hour

GMS......worst game he has had this season. Should've been red carded for the incident at the end. Who knew Flipper was a hard fucker?

Devlin.....fantastic again an absolute rock at the back. Could prove to be McInnes' best ever signing.

Joe...couple of great saves but also a couple of times where his positiong was at best suspect at crosses from the right flank.

I think as the season progresses we will view this as a point gained rather than 2 dropped as it feels like tonight. But we must win at home next week.

Having watched it back now, we were lucky to get a point. Not saying we're not capable of getting more, this team definitely is but on the face of it Im happy with the draw. Their man horgan looks like a find. Their goal was very well worked, decent finish by the convict bastard. Just don't know why dm continues to pursue this game management tactic. It doesn't work.

Possibly unlucky not to get a penalty in the first half but it was a risky challenge for the hibbie to make. Ferguson just continues to impress.

GMS incident, no way was that a red card, didn't even make a head butt motion. The challenge itself was a potential ankle breaker so gms had every right to be livid.

Derek McInnes…..“I’d have taken the point before the game”

Watching the post match interview from D.M he looked stuck for words on that display. He was hesitant on every part of the interview and never referred to his negative tactics in the second half apart from stating we should have held out for the win.  :frown:

Derek McInnes…..“I’d have taken the point before the game”

There's the key piece of evidence right there. For judicial precedence I refer to the case of AFC getting a point in Glasgow almost 40 years ago, whereupon the new manager was disgusted at the players celebrating a draw. Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, you can have no other option to convict. From his own mouth, Mr McInnes has stated beyond all reasonable doubt that he is not of winner mentality and is therefore not a fit and proper person to manage the football club. On behalf of the North East of Scotland and of Dons fans everywhere, get rid of the cunt.

It's just deflecting away from his failings again. He got it wrong yesterday, from the starting 11 to the whole 2nd half. If we hadn't seen the game, but heard that Hibs were the dominate team yet we've managed to come away with a Point, we'd be relatively happy, but the problem is, we all saw it & we could all see their goal was coming, we all saw Boyle constantly get the better of Considine, Efe Ambrose time and again marauding forward from CB to CAM, completely unchallenged, Gray & Stevenson getting all the time in the world hugging the touchlines. The only thing he got right eventually, was nullifying the lad Horgan.

We were atrocious going forward, offered basically nothing, other than the goal, Bogdan had one save to make ( a good save from young Ferguson ) and Hibs immediately snuffed out our gameplan of getting the ball into the wide areas for May & GMS. Unfortunately too many players were second best, and looked lazy, very unlike them. Hibs took both their full backs off, and up until the 86th minute, we left one striker on, who got absolutely zero service.

I am still very much miffed, and still thoroughly of the opinion that we threw 2 points away yesterday, couldn't make head or tail of the formation, where people were playing and it only got worse as the game went on, 2nd half especially.

One of McInnes's fatal personality flaws is stubbornness. It's obvious to everyone that Considine's best position isn't LB. It is equally obvious that Shinnie is regressing in midfield, was never great in there anyway and his best position is LB. Consi was lost yesterday and GS is getting more and more frustrated. This fitting of square pegs into round holes will never work. He is trying to cover up his woeful recruitment of attacking options. When has he ever had an effective midfield balance? Christie got significantly worse under McInnes from an extremely positive start. McLean was allowed to be pedestrian under McInnes, only showing any suggestion of ability after he found some motivation after signing for Norwich in January.

This season is dead already. McGinn isn't going to be the answer. His best is well in the past. GMS will have the odd flash but he's not man enough nor strong enough to be a consistent performer. Shinnie will never be a great midfield contributor despite his big heart. Ball is barely good enough and Gleeson is another journeyman so who's going to be the midfield dynamo to inspire and bring through the very promising young Ferguson?

Long day yesterday, down on train, great day until the match started, Lewis 2 great saves in 1st half, one in particular was stunning.  Thiught Gleeson was unfortunate to be subbed & Logan was nowhere near match fit, Shinnie was very poor again.  Big Andy struggled against their pacy front players, Hobban was ok.

Our best players i.m.o Were Devlin & the impressive Lewis.

Badly missed Wright yesterday, (think he would have had a lot of joy running at their defence)

Started sitting far too deep (again) in 2nd half making a very average hibs side look good, diabolical tactics, inevitable we would lose a goal.

All in all, good day out, Edinburgh was heaving & was nice & sunny, not the worst result but we should have beaten that side yesterday. :frown:

You should check our record in games where we take the lead over the last 2/3 seasons and see if it really doesn’t work.

I assume this is meant to mean when we take the lead against (maybe) top 4 teams??
