Lencarl Posted August 27, 2018 Report Posted August 27, 2018 Saturday 1st September Aberdeen V Kilmarnock 15:00 With the Ugly sisters playing each other on Sunday this is the perfect opportunity for Aberdeen to get the 3 points on board before the Glasgow love fest. For fans unable to attend the game it is on RED TV International. Will May score a goal that is the question. Aberdeen 3 Kilmarnock 0 Quote
Lencarl Posted August 28, 2018 Author Report Posted August 28, 2018 Kilmarnock have signed Greg Stewart on a season long loan from Birmingham City He will probably score against us on Saturday, if he plays. Quote
manc_don Posted August 28, 2018 Report Posted August 28, 2018 He will probably score against us on Saturday, if he plays. Absolutely, but we'll score more than them so it's ok Quote
manc_don Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 So how does everyone think we'll fare in this today? Out Bed Bed Work 2-1 dons, McGinn and Ferguson Killie don't look too good thus far, but we need to play our game. If we do that, i'm confident of the 3 points. Any update on the injuries? Quote
Jute Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Due to forgetting to book the trains for this one (£50 return by the time I remembered) I will be missing this one today. Hopefully as this one is at home we will have a more attacking formation than last week. Would expect Lowe to slot into left back and Shay starting at right back with Hoban and Ball dropping out. If McGinn is fit would expect him to come in for Ross. No idea who will start up top. It’s a nailed on certainty that Greg Stewart will score for Killie if he plays so think we will need to score twice to win this one. Thing is St Mirren aside we have not looked like scoring twice in a game yet. Oot Flat Local game probably Edinburgh Uni v East Kilbride Flat 1-1 GMS for Dons Quote
A llad insane Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Be a right blow if the rumours are true about Wilson doing his hamstring, hopefully see the new lad from Derby start, but options up front already light ,now much lighter Tbh think we have made a pigs ear of this window, hopefully keep up our good record against Killie, but cant say i'm too confident. Quote
Ten Caat Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 I think we will do the business going for a 2-0 win but as said before the injury to Wilson is definitely worrying, don't think we will see him till mid October at the earliest now. International break has come at a good time hopefully we get through today with no more injuries and gives Lowe a couple of weeks to get to know the players and system. I wouldn't start him today just give him 15-20 minutes to say hello to the fans if we are ahead. Hopefully Mckenna will be fit by the St Johnstone game in 2 weeks. Quote
BigAl Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Out Beach Beach Wine Festival 2-1 ( Devlin & GMS) Quote
KennyFuckinPowers Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 They will be itching to get one over us after failing to do so last season. They will also be aggrieved at failing to overturn Dicker's ridiculous red card. Lewis Logan Devlin Considine Lowe Gleeson Shinnie McGinn Ferguson GMS Wilson ( Or Anderson if Wilson is injured ) 3-1 Aberdeen win ( GMS, McGinn & Shinnie ) Quote
Madbadteacher Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Oot Watching EPL Online, possibly in chat but it's like tumbleweed territory in there these days Shower, shopping, chillin' 5 - 0 Killie cos we're shite after the transfer window Quote
KennyFuckinPowers Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Lewis Logan Shinnie Considine Gleeson McGinn GMS May Devlin Ferguson Lowe SUBS - Cerny, Forrester, Cosgrove, Ball, F Ross, Campbell, Anderson No James Wilson or Tommie Hoban in the squad, Ross dropped for McGinn & powederpuff May up front alone again. I have nothing against May personally, I just don't think he's the man for the job. Feel young Anderson, a player brimming with confidence AND scoring goals, albeit in the reserves, should get the nod. Quote
ayrshire_don74 Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 hoban wilson injured poor, woild have thought anderson may have started Quote
Madbadteacher Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Is that a 4-5-1? At home?? v Killie??? W T F Derek? Quote
Madbadteacher Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 ^^^ As I said We are not going to score like that! I think Deek might have lost the plot here Quote
tom_widdows Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Was it red? its been given against a non OF team. Of course it was. (He says without seeing it) Quote
tlg1903 Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Technically last man but he still had a lot to do, I think it's very harsh. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Is it even worth appealing seeing as we're not weegie scum? Quote
tlg1903 Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 We are playing well with ten men, edging the game even. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Zero shots on or off target from AFC in the first half! Quote
