He should only get a new offer on the basis that he plays left back. His performance level this season you have to wonder who else would be interested though. Just because the manager has shoehorned him into a position in an attempt to cover up his poor recruitment in the middle of the park, let's not kid ourselves and support the manager when he gets it totally wrong. He's played as a holding role in front of the back four and he was first deployed at RB when Logan was suspended at Parkhead, where he was carthorse-like and haplessly deflected a goal for them just before HT.
