rocket_scientist Posted April 8, 2019 Author Report Posted April 8, 2019 Tonight he starts CHO and RLC (because of England) but he's gone with Higuain ahead of Giroud. Willian, Pedro, Barkley and Caballero also being on the bench says to me that he really doesn't know what he's doing, as the camel flatcap wanks like to tell him. Sarri is a knob. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted April 12, 2019 Author Report Posted April 12, 2019 Ok with three big games in seven days, we can understand squad rotation but he can't leave Willian on the bench for the next one surely. If Sarri (the knob) wants to create total harmony and team spirit, he can't not involve someone that good. Spoilt for choice, I'm not sure he knows his best team. In the first half last night, Willian's shot off the bar was the best chance. In the 86th minute, his amazing cross was inch-perfect, putting the only goal of the game on a plate for Alonso. With Liverpool next on Sunday, he must surely, finally, play his strongest team. CHO wasn't even on the bench last night, the first time he's not been either on the pitch or the bench for a long time. Hazard was a sub last night, coming on in the second half. If he doesn't start with Hazard, Willian, CHO and Giroud (and leaving Higuain on the bench) then Sarri the knob is totally incompetent and Liverpool will deserve to win. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted April 14, 2019 Author Report Posted April 14, 2019 I'll give the knob his due, he started with Hazard, Willian and CHO. I would have found room for Giroud but at least he's left Higuain out. This could be the game where Citeh win the league. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted April 19, 2019 Author Report Posted April 19, 2019 Sarri made five changes last night and Pedro and Giroud combined to create four goals in the first half hour and game over. Crucially, he left Jorginho on the bench, the first time he's not played him that I can remember. This knob still doesn't know his best team. Quote
manc_don Posted April 19, 2019 Report Posted April 19, 2019 Seemed like they were riding their luck towards the end? Quote
rocket_scientist Posted April 19, 2019 Author Report Posted April 19, 2019 Seemed like they were riding their luck towards the end? Didn't see it manc. I'm just staggered at the inconsistency of his selections but Pedro and Giroud were left out last time. Quote
Jute Posted April 22, 2019 Report Posted April 22, 2019 Ruptured his Achilles in tonight’s game against Burnley so season over for him. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted April 23, 2019 Author Report Posted April 23, 2019 Ruptured his Achilles in tonight’s game against Burnley so season over for him. Shame to hear. Only caught the first half hour before switching to BBC2 to see a famous Scottish victory, despite the inclusion of a freak young man as captain of the opposition. The Edinburgh captain was himself freakily good in the second half. Higuain's goal was class. Caught the last 20 minutes too and once again, Chelsea were disjointed and failing to get the most from a supremely talented bunch. No Willian on the bench may suggest an injury. Ruben's a right talent, a big unit with great feet. Quote
