Re rebuilding I would totally take Greg docherty off the huns if they would do business with us.

Doubt they would sell to us in the ifrst instance and secondly excuse my ignorance if I'm wrong here but isn't he too similar to Lewis Ferguson ?

Think Ferguson only made his debut at Hamilton as a replacement for Docherty when he left for The Huns

I don't think Docherty would improve us any. And I'd also prefer us not to deal with the huns at all...….if we were to take a player off them, there's no doubt they'd come in with a bid for Ferguson in the summer and expect us to accept it such is their arrogance.

Don't see why they wouldn't sell him to us. He's not good enough for them so why not have this 'weaker' player go to us. Helps their finances and that's what matters to them.

Much as I and the majority of my family loved Red Parkhead, I've never gushed over McInnes. I might have praised him over the grit, determination and work rate the team showed very occasionally over the years to grind out an unexpected win but you're misrepresenting the truth here. So go fuck yourself.

So who was it then that posted a few days after the League Cup praising McInnes in relation to the appointment of a sports  scientist , for his professionalism and describing him as being “of a huge growth mindset” ?

And in the same post  describing “Derek” as a “forward thinking, ambitious young manager” and referring to his “vision , knowledge and professionalism”.

And concluding that AFC now had “the right man in charge of the football department”

I guess day one must have started sometime after that

Well, let’s see if I can jog your memory. It was the same poster who several weeks earlier after we’d won a Scottish Cup tie away to Celtic , gushed ......

“Aberdeen were fucking magnificent today. McInnes. YOU have made the whole difference. Boy’s fucking magic. McInnes is fucking magic. What an interview. What a guy”

A bit more than begrudged praise after grinding out a win , wouldn’t you agree ?

Would it not be easier if you posted the links? I mean you've invested 5 or 6 hours of your life on this?

Since you've spent an extraordinary amount of time on this, you are due a courtesy of a response. And I'm sure you'll agree that people do change their minds and they are permitted to do this. That's NOT what's happening here though.

I have never warmed to McInnes from day one. Exactly like I have never warmed to any AFC manager for a period approaching 30 years, the ones that Milne recruited being a particularly terrible bunch. We want to like and respect the management team. The last time I did was the Smiffy Jocky combo because in my opinion, that team played the best football I've ever seen at Pittodrie, including the early 80's under Fergie, Jim Bett being at his peak and pulling the strings. Unfortunately at 2.55 pm at Ibrox in May 91 when the teams got read out and the 3,200 of us who were there looked at each other with incredulity, disgust and disbelief, that's when the respect for Smiffy dissipated. He fucked up big time.

Can you imagine how hard it is going each week and spending money on a losing cause, something I have refused to do in 2019, exactly like I did for the calendar year 2007? Even an average or a poor manager is going to have a good day every so often and when you feel guilty for hating the cunt when everyone around you is loving him, of course you're going to give praise when it's due. I WANTED him to succeed and according to the majority of you at Hampden last year, he IS succeeding because you all chanted his name, unbelievably in my opinion after the final where we were fucking shite.

Stewart Milne gave a very good interview this week, broadcast on Radio Scotland yesterday at about 2.30 ish as I was driving down the road. I can't stand that cunt either but in between some common sense and some other good stuff he was saying about the future of Scottish fitba, he was fulsome in his praise for Derek McInnes. It's ok to disagree in this world. Unlike the majority of you, including our former chairman who threw the chequebook at him and including Lennon who said yesterday that "Aberdeen have a very good manager", I never saw McInnes succeeding at AFC. Time will tell if I was right and if you, the majority, were wrong to sing his name or if he does win a Scottish Cup or the SPFL, I will be delighted to say that I got it wrong about him.

But context and perspective eh? If you read all of my posts - and until you show me mine where I have allegedly gushed over him, I don't believe it - you will know that I have never been a fan. Surely it's ok to celebrate a good result though and much as I wanted to like McInnes, I never could.

You should get out more mate.

I’d imagine you spent labour as long doing that post than I did looking for some old posts on AFC Chat, but that’s by the bye.

Of course we can all change our mind about anything, but your ego wouldn’t allow you to make any such admission in relation to McInnes. And I quite enjoy seeing a self-aggrandising blowhard being shown up as a bullshitter.

“Those were not my words”

What is your problem? You have been very selective in your choice of quotes. You are totally ignoring the rest of my posts. What's your point? Do you think McInnes is good for AFC? Are you as retarded as Milne and the cunts singing his name at Hampden?

A96. A horrible road because it leads to Huntly, a place that breeds kiddy fiddling whack jobs.

I've no idea who you are because you've never posted enough to get noticed. But you've obviously got a major problem with me, without ever having the balls to engage directly on the points I've been making in twenty years of posting on AFC forums.

If I insulted you over this period, I don't apologise for that. You would've posted shit worthy of condemnation. Yo, you've finally been noticed ??

But seriously, get a fucking life. Your attempts to selectively take a few words out of context to try and make a point that doesn't stand is as tragic to witness as it is to be inside your head. Your "since you asked nicely" was revealing. You're desperate for control and the higher ground. Just be honest. What are you made of? Show your true self. I'm already getting a sense of your sad agenda.

My point ?…I already told you. To show you up as a bullshitter. What bit of that was so hard to grasp for an intellectual giant such as yourself ?

McInnes has on the whole been good for AFC, in my opinion. But the very expensive (for us) player recruitment on his watch in recent years which has been mostly nowhere near good enough is threatening to undo his previous good work.

I don’t know how retarded Milne is , but I disagree with you that his interview on Sportsound was good. Unless his aim was to rile most of the fanbase.  He just isn’t a genuine fan and doesn’t “get” it. No genuine Dons fan could possibly want either of the Old Scum to be successful in Europe , and get millions more pounds to widen the already huge financial gulf even more.

And even if McInnes comes from a Hun background and upbringing , why the fuck would Milne refer to him as a Rangers man while he’s still our manager ?  Maybe he is retarded , but more likely it just doesn’t enter into his mind that saying that Won’t go down well with most supporters.

That's good, that you can use the English language to communicate.

A bullshitter though? Are you saying that I was once a McInnes fan? Do you dispute my account? Or now that you've finally revealed your position (as a McInnes fan), is it this that prompts you to take a few words from the many tens of thousands that I've written to try to argue that I spik shite?

Not that I argue that I don't spik shite from time to time. Most of us do.

I thought his interview was "good" because it was the most revealing we had ever seen him, in more than 25 years of his sucking our blood dry. I didn't say he was good. I already said I hated the cunt.

You and I will never agree. That's ok, as I already said. But your disingenuous nature of trying to twist my words from more than half a decade ago to try and make yourself look smart and attempting to make me out as a hypocrite on one hand or trying to suggest I'm schizophrenic in my views on material matters pertaining to the club I've loved over six decades, that's not ok. So as I said before, go fuck yourself.

Do I have to pay for this amateur psycho-analysis ? .....or is it on the house ?

Nothing was taken out of context.  I’ve just reminded you of some things you actually said which give the lie to some of your recent comments. You know , where you tried to give the impression that you were one of the select few who knew from day one that McInnes (or “Deek” as you liked to call him in your more gushing moments)  would be shit from day one.

Here’s another link for you , as demanded....

Ah, the apples I'm supposed to like. The words I wrote on the back of a good day. You conveniently ignored my posts before and after. You love McInnes. I detest him. Time will show whether you were wrong or whether I was right. In the meantime, try some love. It won't save you from your Huntly upbringing but it might introduce you to the lighter side.

Disingenuous.  That’s probably as good a word as any to describe your post about McInnes. The one where you claimed you knew he was shit from day one.  Which was of course more than half a decade ago, so in order to demonstrate your  disingenuity it was necessary to remind you what you said back then.

No twisting of words on my part. Just direct quotes from your own posts.

It's almost 2020. We've had SEVEN seasons of this cunt. And still there are spastics like you who think he's "good for AFC". And you will do anything to take the party line, to justify the gross mismanagement that's been going on.

I've already said that you're the majority and I'm the minority. Get over it. Time is the great revealer. You haven't ever posted enough to be noticed or listened to. If you're a genuine Aberdeen fan, try joining in and communicating.

Wouldn’t say I love McInnes. Just think he’s done a good job for us.

Doubt if you can be shown to be either right or wrong about him when you’ve flip-flopped between gushing praise and bitter criticism
