mizer Posted August 16, 2011 Report Posted August 16, 2011 I was told this last week, its more of a stick to threaten Hearts and they promise they will pay today a fraction of what they owe. Quote

manc_don Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Anyone else want to see Hearts get pumped tonight? I want AFC to fall off the embarrassment map for European humpings Apparently the Yids/AFC flag had to be taken down as it was angering the hearts fans last week Quote

Kenny Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 They're actually playing alright at the moment. The ten minutes before the pen they had a couple of decent chances. Quote

glasgow sheep Posted September 10, 2011 Author Report Posted September 10, 2011 eh? (apologies for Daily M**l link) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2035334/John-Sutton-shunned-Paulo-Sergio-Hearts--just-games-season.html EXCLUSIVE: John Sutton is shunned by Paulo Sergio at Hearts... just six games into the season By Peter Jardine Striker John Sutton has been told he has no future at Hearts — less than four months after joining the club. The 27-year-old Englishman was signed on a free transfer by former Tynecastle boss Jim Jefferies during the summer but has apparently failed to impress new Portuguese manager Paulo Sergio just six games into the SPL campaign. Sportsmail understands that moves were made to find Sutton a new club before the transfer window closed last week but now he could be left in limbo until January at least. Jefferies swooped for the forward, younger brother of former Celtic idol Chris, after he had emerged as Motherwell’s top marksman with 17 goals last season — a tally which included three scored at Tynecastle. But the switch quickly turned sour for Sutton after Jefferies was axed in a shock dugout clearout by Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov at the start of the new term — and replacement Sergio has already informed the tall striker that he is not in his plans. Sutton has started only two of Sergio’s six matches in charge so far and was on the bench for the goalless draw with Kilmarnock following the embarrassing 5-0 Europa League defeat to Tottenham at Tynecastle. He was also left out the following week for the derby win over Hibs at Tynecastle. Sutton scored his first two goals for Hearts against Aberdeen in August, which saw Sergio celebrate his first league win as boss, but has still failed to win over his Portuguese boss. The powerful hitman had started the opening three games of the season when Jefferies was still in charge. Sutton signed a three-year contract with the Gorgie club in May — days after facing Celtic in the Scottish Cup Final for Motherwell. Hearts look short of decent forward options should he remain out of favour, with Kevin Kyle still sidelined because of a troublesome hip injury. Stephen Elliott has been handed the striker’s role of late, with midfielder Ryan Stevenson occasionally deployed up front or Arvydas Novikovas and David Templeton used in support. dave_min Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 Worth a look? Yes. I've been reasonably impressed with what i've seen of him. Quote
tlg1903 Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 defo worth a look, always a player i've rated. I still think we are much more in need of another full back and someone who can actually create chances for a striker as opposed to another striker Quote

Tyrant Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 I don't even find the Huns crashing out mildly amusing given the state we are in. Let alone the Diet Huns. Well it made me fele better. And it helped me stay in denial... At least we took our lower league opposition all the way to penalties and when we did at least we scored some of our penalties!
