Fedotovas thanked fans for their efforts in raising money so far , but warned the club is still short of funds to complete the season. "The effort is outstanding," he told the club's official website. "Many important challenges lie ahead," he added. "We are still short of covering our wage and tax bill undertakings for the season." Romanov has also just done the same last night to the fans of his basketball team in Kaunas saying they all need to put in £25 or they will go bust. BigAl Posted December 31, 2012 Share Posted December 31, 2012 SPL Press Release ~ Heart of Midlothian FC A sub-committee of the SPL Board convened today at Hampden to consider two charges against Heart of Midlothian FC (‘the Club’) – for failure to pay bonuses and appearance monies owing to players and coaching staff (a ‘Remuneration Default’); and for the Club’s subsequent failure to inform the SPL of such failure to pay in a timely manner. The sub-committee found the Club guilty of breaching SPL Rules A6.21 and A6.22 in respect of a number of players. The Club remains subject to the existing registration embargo, which will continue in effect until such time as the SPL Board is satisfied that the Remuneration Default is no longer ongoing. However, the decision of the sub-committee today was that the Club should be made subject to further restrictions on the registration of players. As a result, if and when the Club satisfies the SPL Board that the Remuneration Default is no longer ongoing, the Club will (until the end of the 2012/2013 Season) only be able to register players on the following basis: - One out, one in (ie the Club will only be able to replace such number of players as have their registrations with the Club terminated – whether by sale, mutual agreement or otherwise) - Only under-21 players (as defined in the SPL Rules) will be able to be registered - Any new under-21 player registered must have an annualised employment cost lower than that of the player leaving the Club Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mizer Posted January 24, 2013 Share Posted January 24, 2013 A SCANDINAVIAN consortium is piecing together a takeover bid to buy Hearts. SunSport can reveal a group of six, who all studied in Edinburgh, have come up with a deal to buy out Vladimir Romanov. And they want the Hearts Foundation fans’ group on board to help run the club. The consortium, whose ages range from 40 to 60 and span business backgrounds in banking, oil engineering, shipping and venture capitalism, would look to run things along a Scandinavian-type model. That would see the club split into a separate sporting body and limited company. The Hearts Foundation would control the former, with the new consortium managing the latter. The sporting body would make money from selling its commercial rights to the limited company at the latest market rates. Additional funds would be raised through a membership scheme — similar to the one used by German clubs — along with transfer income and a ticket revenue agreement. It’s likely there would be NO cash injections from the potential new owners, who would expect the sporting arm to be self sustainable. They would know their budget at the start of each season, leaving them free from the instability that has dogged the Tynecastle club. SunSport understands provisional talks have already taken place between a consultant the consortium have used and the Foundation. It’s hoped terms can be put to the fans’ group next week. But as yet no dialogue has taken place with Hearts directors. Romanov has slapped a £50m price tag on the club, but they currently have debts of around £22.4m and it would be likely the Scandinavians would look to do a deal in the region of £10-£15m. It’s understood the group members are based in Norway and Sweden and have been involved in ownership of clubs in Scandinavia in the past, although at a minor level. Three of the group would take a more active part, with the remaining three taking a back seat. They would lean on the experience of Norwegian football, which has just entered into a period of stability after previous overspending left clubs struggling. The query relates to a suspension he picked up whilst with Rangers in 2010. "As a result of discussions that have taken place, the club will be seeking further details and an explanation," said an Inverness CT statement. The Scottish Football Association yesterday stated that Wilson was eligible to play, but it's unclear as to when the one-game ban was served. Wilson's ban, specifically for one Scottish League Cup game , is recorded in SFA documentation dated March 2010. The 21-year-old was sent off in the 2010 League Cup final, as a nine-man Rangers team defeated St Mirren . The defender moved to Liverpool before the suspension could be served, but the Inverness statement continued: "There was no notice of suspension accompanying his registration paperwork when he returned from Liverpool." Wilson's Liverpool debut came in an English League Cup tie at home against Northampton. Should there be no confirmation of when Wilson served his ban, it is possible that the Highland side could challenge the outcome of the match.
