Madbadteacher Posted July 29, 2020 Report Posted July 29, 2020 Saw this Quote Referee Kevin Clancy says he and other officials are well aware what is at stake this season, as Celtic attempt to secure a record 10 titles in a row (The Herald). What exactly does he mean by "well aware what's at stake". I find this very concerning. If they're truly neutral then there's no way this should even be a topic, let alone a quote. Even if there's nothing to it it now sets up all sorts of red flags......celtic get a last minute penalty to earn 3 points. Sevco play 24 hours later and on 94 minutes with the game at 0-0 on of them falls over in the box. Has Clancy basically said they'll award a penalty then too because of "10 in a row"......... 1 Quote
RicoS321 Posted July 29, 2020 Report Posted July 29, 2020 It's a ridiculous statement for a referee to be making. More ridiculous that it's seen as perfectly normal and acceptable. 1 Quote
