BigAl Posted October 2, 2020 Report Posted October 2, 2020 Would be gutted if was a Saint as they put a hell of a lot into that game and probably were worthy of getting a point. Quote
Elgindon Posted October 2, 2020 Report Posted October 2, 2020 Agreed, quite surprised how well they played at times. We didnt adjust quick enough to how they were playing Quote
tup1 Posted October 2, 2020 Report Posted October 2, 2020 Billy Dodds looks fit for a heart attack. Quote
flooter Posted October 2, 2020 Report Posted October 2, 2020 A win is a win especially going into the international break. Didn't look good with 20 minutes left so I'll take it. Quote
Jute Posted October 2, 2020 Report Posted October 2, 2020 Made that harder that it needed to be. Looked better once we made subs and got two up top. Quote
RicoS321 Posted October 2, 2020 Report Posted October 2, 2020 1 hour ago, tup1 said: Dodds is havering, said Nisbet signed from Raith Rovers to Hibs, it was Dunfermline he was at. Leave doddsy alone, he was referring to his potential when he was at Raith before joining Dunfermline. He was wrong about a lot of other stuff though, like joining the fucking Hun and ebts. Anyway, a rather good win in the end. Thought Ferguson had a decent game, with McRorie poor alongside him. Thought McInnes got the setup wrong tonight. Hedges and Wright had formed a decent partnership, they should be the front two with Watkins. McGinn getting on a bit but he's a fairly reliable tracker back and would be far better at the wing back role. Watkins was very good, but he's nae a striker. So many times he needed to go across his man but didn't. Hayes been great since he came back, a fantastic signing. Hoban very good too. Good changes by McInnes. Not sure about Edmondson yet. McLennan played well. Quote
LA-Don Posted October 2, 2020 Report Posted October 2, 2020 Zero complaints from me, we’ve won 8 of 11 and playing way better than the last few years. My eyes don’t bleed! Winning ugly is the sign of a good team! Wonder if we get any offers for Ferguson before the window closes. Given we accepted the offer for Cosgrove and McKenna is gone, I’d assume he’d go. Plus we declined higher offers for McKenna in the past, wouldn’t be surprised we grab what we can for Ferguson. Get the boy from Motherwell signed as the replacement. What would people be saying if Marley Watkins was on penalties and you add those to his total. Really curious to see what happens when Cosgrove is fit. Watkins isn’t perfect but his movement is excellent as he’s been a big part of our improved performances this season so far. Quote
tom_widdows Posted October 2, 2020 Report Posted October 2, 2020 Watkins is only here until January remember. Quote
