manc_don Posted January 29, 2021 Report Posted January 29, 2021 First of our double header against livi. We all know livi are getting better results than us at the moment . They’re scoring regularly and have had two decent results against the dhims recently. Not having a proper goal scorer is killing our season, and with rumours abound, who knows if sam or Wright will still be with us come weeks end. Hoping we start to see a few more of the youth being played, and subs need to start being used earlier (not holding me breath). I imagine we’ll try to park the bus and stifle them and hope for a productive counter attack. Out bed bed bed 2-1 livi, hedges Quote
Jute Posted January 29, 2021 Report Posted January 29, 2021 Fully expect us to try and shitfest our way to a 0-0 tomorrow. Livingston are flying just now and full of confidence. With all the transfer rumours on the go really got not idea who will be available to play on Saturday. Potentially could be down to one fit striker if Cosgrove is sold and Main is still injured. With COVID restrictions no idea if a replacement could be brought in to squad bubble before Saturday. If Wright goes to Tribute Act have to hope McLennan or McGinn is fit enough to last 90 minutes on Livingston’s carpet. Livingston wanting £20 for their stream so no chance I will be paying that. Oot Flat or Park with Bairn if not pissing down. Flat watching EPL game with radio on Flat 2-0 no dons scorer Quote
RedStarTorphins Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 It’ll be something 0. 0-0 or 1-0 them. Quote
RicoS321 Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 Either game off, or 0-2 (Hendry 2) Quote

RedStarTorphins Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 Been such a poor & depressing window. We’ve been turgid to watch. Rapidly losing interest. Think the best we’ll get is 0-0 & that’s a sad admission. Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 Livingston's run has to come to an end soon and in the world of scottish football it often happens against a team thats playing turgid stuff and gets lucky 3-0 Dons The Kaiser x 2 Own goal Quote
BigAl Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 McLennan upfront ? Wright benched. Quote

Slim Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 Is that Aquaman at left back for Livingston? Quote
ayrshire_don74 Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 hayes kennedy on wrong wings again Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 Where's Goal-line technology when you need it? Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 (edited) Thats 2 gilt edge chances so far. If only Hayes had realised how much time and space he had. In other news the BBC 'live coverage' page is well behind. Edited January 30, 2021 by tom_widdows Quote
LA-Don Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 It does hurt us not having wright or the likes at number 10. Back to no creative threat in the middle of the park. When hedges comes in it’s better but when we rely on Ferguson and mccrory in center mid it gets very predictable. Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 (edited) Wonder what certain lawyers might say if one of the players was injured by sliding/ running onto the packed iced snow piled up in some places less than 1m from the touchline? Bad enough having to put up with that playing 5s at powerleague and frankly its pathetic no one at Livingston has cleared that. Edited January 30, 2021 by tom_widdows Quote
Slim Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 I'm sure the Livingston manager knows some people who can clear some lines of snow quickly. Quote
ayrshire_don74 Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 anyone explain why kennedy and hayes are not on their natural wings? Quote
LA-Don Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 It’s effective when your wingers are high up the park and can cut in and shoot, or cut in and play through balls to a mobile forward. But we don’t see that. Quote
redordead Posted January 30, 2021 Report Posted January 30, 2021 I think the theory is that they'll cut in and have a shot. Just the theory though Quote
