Kowalski Posted March 21, 2008 Author Report Posted March 21, 2008 Tickets for the Dons Scottish Cup semi-final against Queen of the South at Hampden on Saturday 12th April (12.15 pm kick-off) will go on sale to season ticket holders and shareholders (those with a minimum of 260 from the original allocation) from next Saturday, 29th March. As was the case with this season's UEFA Cup matches, sales will be one per season ticket / shareholder. These top priority groups will have until close of business on Wednesday 2nd April to purchase their tickets with a general sale operating from 9 am on Thursday 3rd April. The Pittodrie ticket office will also be open on Sunday 30th March for the above, between 10 am and 5 pm, the same day that the stadium hosts the Scottish Youth Cup semi final between the Dons and either Celtic or Hibs (kick-off 2 pm). Aberdeen has initially been allocated the North Stand which holds 8,800 seats with prices at £25, £22 and £18. A family section will also be available, priced at £15 for adults and £5 for children under 16. Once these tickets are sold then the Club will seek additional tickets which will be in the East Stand of the stadium. Postal applications will be accepted. Supporters are also urged to retain their tickets from tomorrow's SPL match against St. Mirren and the game with Falkirk on Saturday 5th April as, in the event of Aberdeen reaching the final, a voucher system is likely to operate. In light of the early kick off, Pittodrie Stadium will be closed on Saturday 12th April. Quote
sheep_shagger Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Why the varying prices on tickets in the North Stand? Front, middle and back? Quote

Jute Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Why the varying prices on tickets in the North Stand? Front, middle and back? Was going to say the same thing. Never heard of this sort of thing before. Quote
glasgow sheep Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Was going to say the same thing. Never heard of this sort of thing before. I have tried emailing afc but no reply as yet (although to be fair I did send it after 6pm) Bit reluctant to start collecting money for our supporters club until I know roughly where I will be sitting Quote
capitalsharpie Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 QotS fans would still have a fair bit of travel to do. Surely they'll change this, its a nonsense. Er no they wont, cos neither of the ugly sisters are playing and therefore we just do not matter. Which is even MORE reason to sell out our allocation and make one hell of a noise. No matter what time those fukers make kick off, we will be there. Fuck em. Quote
Mackie's ace! Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 More expensive the tickets, the closer to the half way line. Quote
tom_widdows Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 So we can assume that they are closing the East and West Stands and most of the South Stand then? At a guess our current allocation is 15000 max Quote
Mackie's ace! Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 We'll get the East Stand once we sell the North Stand. Queens have part of the South and the West Stand according to their website. So I'm guessing the rest of the South will be for corporate types. Quote
manc_don Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Haha I like that, " corporate types" Couldn't have put it better myself! Will you not be one of them next year? Quote
