Goldie03 Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Watching the Nadal match just now before I get up for work - do you reckon Murray & Federer will still be on court at 12 if I take an early lunch and head to the pub Quote

BigAl Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Two sets down already Going take the biggest swing known since Johnny Weismuller hung up his loin cloth for Murray to pull this off. All the momentum is with Federer. Quote
BigAl Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Third set tie break Could all be over in minutes. Quote
manc_don Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Third set tie break Could all be over in minutes. Roll on the 4th set! Quote
BigAl Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Roll on the 4th set! Saved two match points along the way as well Quote
Kowalski Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Another epic match by the sounds of things. Quote
BigAl Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Federer was a worthy winner today. Can be no complaints over the outcome. Quote
Goldie03 Posted January 26, 2014 Report Posted January 26, 2014 Oooft Wawrinka has the first set and Nadal has been off the court for longer than the time limit Quote
Goldie03 Posted January 26, 2014 Report Posted January 26, 2014 He's fucked. Maybe not............... Quote
Tyrant Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 I don't think anything should be taken away from Wawrinka. The boy was playing out of his mind and was a set and a break up before Nadal's injury started affecting him. Nadal's injury knocked Stan's concentration out. I'd go as far as to say that had Nadal not gotten injured he may have won in straight sets. His tennis was that good. Quote
Kowalski Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 I don't think anything should be taken away from Wawrinka. Andrew Castle still tried his best though. The man's a fucking tool. Quote
Tyrant Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 Andrew Castle makes it really hard work watching Tennis. Quote
Kowalski Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Interesting, Murray parts from Lendl: http://www.andymurray.com/news-and-blog/andy-murray-and-ivan-lendl-announce-that-they-have-mutually-agreed-to-end-their-two-year-coaching/ Quote
Tyrant Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Didn't see that coming! I don't think that's good. Depends on who the replacement is I suppose. Wish them both all the best. Quote
Kowalski Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Murray a set down to Djokovic, no thanks to the ref He's been playing well too Quote
Tyrant Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 Murray a set down to Djokovic, no thanks to the ref He's been playing well too I never saw the match because I was bossing the midfield at 5-a-side but I heard Djok reached over the net to hit a volley? Umpire called it legit but was it? Murray's inability to put this sort of shit out of his mind isn't good, like. I was disappointed at the result. I wonder if he's maybe lacking hunger right now? That's what happened, but it was replayed on the big screen which didn't help. Djokovic was miles over the net when he hit it, very poor decision from the umpire. Murray played very well, best performance since Wimbledon but fizzled out a bit in the second set. Quote
Stewart Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Murray will name his coach tomorrow. Good luck with the new job. Quote
Tyrant Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Good luck with the new job. Turned the role down. I told him I had commitments to AFC football club that I didn't want to break however I also told him that I was willing to discuss the role again once AFC turn shite again. Quote
Kowalski Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Andy Murray will not be naming his new coach on Wednesday, after it was confirmed that a message he posted on Twitter was an April Fool's joke. The British number one, who split from Ivan Lendl last month, tweeted on Tuesday that an announcement about about a replacement was imminent. However, it was later confirmed by his management that the post was a joke. Feeble. Quote
Tyrant Posted April 3, 2014 Report Posted April 3, 2014 That's about in line with his well-known love of laughter and jokes. Quote
