Ok, maybe it's just a little bit early but been thinking about this based on his hugely unexpected performances over the past few weeks.

Doubt any of us, thought we'd be having a debate like this about Funso, but the lad looks like a totally different player. Heard him saying previously that McInnes didn't play him properly and have to say it defintiely looksl ike Glass is getting the best out of him. Watched him closely last night when he came on and not for the first time this season he was playing with a smile on his face and patetnly enjoying it.

So, do we offer a new contract hoping he'll stay or do we let him run it down and look to replace him with someone else or is it just too early to say one way or the other.

I'd go for the last option BUT the signs are pretty positive.

Amazing what a big dollop of love can do ?

Here's hoping Mickey Devlin is receiving the same kind o' lovin' - one day we may see him become Baresi-esque...imagine - hoo mama

It's a strange one like, if he's saying that McInnes didn't play him properly, then I'm struggling to see what his position is? McInnes played him in both holding midfield and as the midfielder asked to go forward a bit. Given he was signed as a central midfielder that seems reasonable! I actually think that Glass has shoe horned him into a spurious sort of wide role, coming inside to take the ball and providing cover in front of the fullback. It's a position that shouldn't really exist and if it does, you'd normally expect someone like Hayes or Hedges to play it. It's weird though, it does seem to provide a sort of balance to the team in the same way as having Considine at fullback with a young Logan tank up the other wing did for a bit. He seemed to play more central last night, but are we really suggesting he's our new number ten? He was great last night - definitely his best performance this season - but there's still the massive shite at shooting elephant in the room which has me wondering what's best.

I'd say give him a five year extension and move him in with Alan Russell. I expect Maloney to be at our next match keeping tabs on him.

At 29, though, I don't see us getting money for him or him improving to the point he will be too difficult to replace.

Sounds like he's having Fun-So keep him here I say.

Was listening to the here we go podcast last week and they had a former director Andrew Little on.  It's well worth a listen as he had of interesting things to say.  On ojo he said he's one of the highest paid players at the club.  He's playing well at the moment but I'm yet to be convinced he is warranting his salary. Jury still out for me

Glass has said that he understands the tactical side of the game, and is capable of carrying out instructions.

With that in mind, I reckon a 2 year extension will be coming his way.

Perhaps previous instructions were " get stuck in and under no circumstances play the ball forward"

Given it was a DM team it wouldn’t overly surprise me but as Rico says, hard to see what position he is referring to. Either way, I think stick. He’s playing well and with a smile on his face. Whatever the management team are doing, he’s looking like a player. Maybe not the one we thought we were getting but a player nonetheless

Never thought I’d even say this, so feel free to punch me in the face. He’s like a new signing!

Maybe those scouting Ferguson will see Ojo and give us 5 mill for him instead. I’ll get my coat….
