Elgindon Posted June 9, 2022 Report Posted June 9, 2022 I think £3/£4 million is pretty decent at this stage in appearances/age.Got a hunch he may pick up regular injuries but good luck to him 1 Quote
Jute Posted June 11, 2022 Report Posted June 11, 2022 SSN suggesting an offer of £4m initially rising potentially £6m has now officially been made. Quote
OxfordDon Posted June 12, 2022 Report Posted June 12, 2022 (edited) I have no view on the veracity of this. Edited June 12, 2022 by OxfordDon Quote
manc_don Posted June 13, 2022 Report Posted June 13, 2022 Tbh, either of those figures would be good. Have to assume we’d have some good sell on clauses too. Good luck to him if he does go 1 Quote
Elgindon Posted June 13, 2022 Report Posted June 13, 2022 (edited) For all these pundits claiming to be in the know, there seems to be an affa discrepancy in the fees being bandied about. £4m <> £10m. Someone put us out our misery.... ....Be happy with £9m though,.. if pushed Edited June 13, 2022 by Elgindon Quote

I expect the figures aren't that far apart, but we'll be trying to drive a hard bargain. Edited June 13, 2022 by RicoS321 Quote
OxfordDon Posted June 13, 2022 Report Posted June 13, 2022 Assorted media seem to think Liverpool have offered £4m up front (up to £6m with add-ons), but we are wanting £5m front (up to £8.5m with add-ons). Nice to see we aren't just rolling over for once, although that extra million is probably what Liverpool spend on paper clips. 2 Quote
BigAl Posted June 19, 2022 Author Report Posted June 19, 2022 It is now 100% official Liverpool released picture of Cslvin in Liverpool shirt. Wish you the very best of luck loon. Hope you go on to have a successful career. Quote
Jute Posted June 19, 2022 Report Posted June 19, 2022 Interesting that Liverpool are saying Ramsey will be part of first team squad and will not be going on loan. Not sure he is ready for first team there but Klopp has shown he might actually know what he is doing. 1 Quote
manc_don Posted June 19, 2022 Report Posted June 19, 2022 Wish him all the best. Don't like them as a club, but that's irrelevant, I want him to be a success there. Hard to see how he'd fit in the first team plans at the moment or ever, but he's clearly got talent (going forward) and they've got a very good coaching setup there. Will be watching his career with interest. Quote

From what I did see I didn’t get the hype, but he’s obviously got something about him or others wouldn’t be sniffing about. Always been the best in the teams he’d been involved with so I wish him luck if he does move. His defensive game needs a lot of work but no doubting his attacking ability. Be great if one of ours makes it in the prem. And at the top end too. I kind of felt that way too. But watching this... Oooft, he's going to be a player. Quote
sheepheid Posted June 24, 2022 Report Posted June 24, 2022 Calvin Ramsay was without doubt the brightest prospect to come through at Aberdeen since, Jess, Booth, Glass. a properly talented boy, who is balanced and confident on the ball beyond his years. If he stays injury free, gets playing time and gets the coaching to continue his development, he has the potential for me to be better than Nathan Patterson and be Scotland’s number 1 right back. 3 Quote
OrlandoDon Posted September 23, 2022 Report Posted September 23, 2022 Anyone keeping track of the lad? With hickey doing well and Doig called up, was wondering how Calvin is doing these days. Quote
tlg1903 Posted September 23, 2022 Report Posted September 23, 2022 He's been injured, not sure if he's back playing yet. Quote

RicoS321 Posted September 23, 2022 Report Posted September 23, 2022 A quick Google search suggests he's making Joe Gomez, whoever that is, excited, whatever that means. Quote

Be great if he made his debut in November 1 Quote
RicoS321 Posted October 5, 2022 Report Posted October 5, 2022 In the squad last night against the Huns. You'd think they'd have allowed him a cameo appearance to nail Jack, even if not fully fit. I'm guessing he gave the pre match talk on why everyone should hate the Huns. Quote

Noticeable that Alexander Arnold upped his game on Tuesday night. He has been getting a fair bit of flak in recent weeks. Responding well to Ramsay breathing down his neck for the right back starting slot Quote

BigAl Posted October 12, 2022 Author Report Posted October 12, 2022 Is he injured again? Isn't on the bench for Liverpool tonight even with Alexander Arnold out Quote
manc_don Posted October 12, 2022 Report Posted October 12, 2022 Must be, which is a huge shame. I was hoping they'd got to the bottom of his injury problems. You'd think he would be on the bench even if they were trying to bring him back slowly. Quote
