manc_don Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 So he will be played upfront then? I was thinking more of along the lines as a replacement for Soapy Quote
boboisared Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 Known Ryan for quite a few years, good loon & a good player at that. Quote
minijc Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 Seen him play once or twice and has been good in both matches, infact was 3rd best player in Friendly v Locos, good going forward and alright defending wise but will only get better in that department, he also has alot of pace from what i remember and will hopefully be one for the future. stonefish100 Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 Well done loon. Seen him a few times and he looks a good prospect, and strangely for youngsters coming through our ranks, has a bit of built so might nae get blown away by a strong wind. Very excited by the potential of the young guy Pawlett though, could be our next genuine skillful player coming through, ala Jess Quote
dave_min Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 He came into my work tonight (apparantly) Quote
Reekie_Red Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Very excited by the potential of the young guy Pawlett though, could be our next genuine skillful player coming through, ala Jess I said the same for Scott Michie and Andrew Bagshaw. Where are they now? Quote
Drewsome Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 That's the thing about prospects isn't it; you just never know. Quote
minijc Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Was thinking about this today, i am sure i have played against him at some stage (younger that is) canna mind much but my mate thinks he is rubbish but he canna be that bad if he has just won an award and plays for the dons. Dave where do you work if you don't mind me asking? Quote
dave_min Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Dave where do you work if you don't mind me asking? I'm a chef at a top local restaurant, and yes, I do mind you asking. Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 And if you are wondering whether he enjoys his job. He's lovin it. Quote

manc_don Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 That just makes it even more confusing. Nets an award and is released? Quote

stubo72 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Given it is a monthly award, it would be interesting to see how many others have received it and how often they make it into their teams' first elevens... or how many other winners are released at the end of the season. Quote
