I am not condoning such actions, but there is recent examples that should have made Droopy aware of the potential consequences. I have also seen it stated elsewhere, rightly or wrongly, that Barron senior was in the away support at Pittodrie recently Quote

tlg1903 Posted December 18, 2024 Report Posted December 18, 2024 Hard to feel too much sympathy for the parents to be honest. If they had raised their kid better then Barron would have would have more about him, instead he stabbed the club and the city that raised him in the back. 1 Quote

Anyone considering the move from Pittodrie to Ibrox should go and have a wee chat with David Robertson first to see what happens Quote
BigAl Posted December 31, 2024 Author Report Posted December 31, 2024 £600k is the figure announced by the tribunal Disappointing and seems like a bit of a cop out. No right of appeal, so that's that then. Time to move on, I guess. Quote

With the interest charges over the 40 year payment schedule, we'll likely end up making £15M, crossing three versions of the Hun company that owns the club called sevco. 1 Quote
manc_don Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 I imagine they’ve had some interest so are now keen to sell to actually pay it. Regardless it’ll be in a shit load of instalments. Quote

Not disappointed with 600k, it's more than we would have got if he had left Scotland and thpugh it should have been closer to 750k it will still hurt der hun's finances. Quote
Jute Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 £600k was what I was expecting so happy enough with that. Think you are right about any non payment being deducted from prize money but SFA have to agree. Quote
manc_don Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 Great statement from the club, although doesn’t state when we get the money. https://www.afc.co.uk/2025/01/01/spfl-independent-compensation-tribunal-connor-barron/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0BMQABHfRlqcA_qx3TfpQj4M6cgs4Rcy4e7yZR1QgUo538f9NaQDuZEsdUfenhcA_aem_yNchnlwItmBQXaJfKGfnMw Quote
