BigAl Posted July 8, 2022 Report Posted July 8, 2022 McCrorie as vice captain. Happy enough with that Quote
RicoS321 Posted July 8, 2022 Report Posted July 8, 2022 At least we know who's starting in defence then. Bates will be a very expensive cover. Quote
tlg1903 Posted July 8, 2022 Report Posted July 8, 2022 Interesting move by goodwin, always bold to give the armband to newbie. Still, whatever you want to say about Goodwin as a player he was a great captain. I'm sure he can spot that quality in another Quote
manc_don Posted July 8, 2022 Report Posted July 8, 2022 Happy enough with this. Time for the gaffer to stamp his signature on the squad. Stewart has been highly thou gf t of so happy to trust the club on this one. It certainly didn’t appear to do Lewis any favours so again, another positive. Hopefully let him focus on what he’s excellent at. Quote
Panda Posted December 26, 2022 Report Posted December 26, 2022 Of course it's come from an account with no profile picture, who now appears to have deleted their account. It's always the cowards. Quote

Jute Posted December 27, 2022 Report Posted December 27, 2022 There is an element in our support who could do us all a favour and fuck off to Ibrox with the rest of the knuckle dragging racist bigots. No place for them at Aberdeen. 2 Quote
manc_don Posted December 27, 2022 Report Posted December 27, 2022 No place in society, let alone football for this. Some folk would do well to be neutered, passports and technology taken from them. They’ll never learn. Quote
manc_don Posted December 28, 2022 Report Posted December 28, 2022 I see the club have released a statement supporting the captain. Quote
RicoS321 Posted February 10, 2023 Report Posted February 10, 2023 Out for the rest of the season after being injured in training. Shame for the lad. Hope for both parties that it doesn't leave him stuck here next season (or even for this one, hopefully he can do his rehabilitation with mk Dons if he's happier there). Quote

Article I saw suggested he might make it back for May. Bit of a blow for Stewart and Dons as he is clearly surplus to requirements here and it will be best for both parties if he is moved on. Him not playing makes that less likely. 2 Quote
Reekie_Red Posted April 3, 2023 Report Posted April 3, 2023 I see he made a surprise return to MK Dons at the weekend against his former team Wycombe. Gifted them a goal early on, but commanded his way for the rest of the game apparently. Clearly League 1 is a better level for him than the frantic nature of the ScotPrem Quote

Not because I don’t want him back (I don’t), but it wasn’t his fault he was made captain. That’s all on the club / Nowin. 1 Quote
BigAl Posted April 4, 2023 Author Report Posted April 4, 2023 Precisely my thoughts as well Manc. Think Stewart came across as a genuinely nice guy but promoted out of his depth. I wish him well with the remainder of his career. Quote
Reekie_Red Posted April 4, 2023 Report Posted April 4, 2023 Yeah its an odd one. One of my good pals is a Wycombe fan and he was saying the fans were gutted when Stewart left them for Aberdeen Quote
