Did anyone get tickets then?

I got for all three Scotland games.

I did. Managed to get 'fans first' prices for all three.

Cost me €110, my mate went on the next day and it cost him €700 for the three games. Another mate on 10 points could only get €600 tickets for Germany today.

The pricing is mental so feeling very lucky I've not been stung too much.

I got same deal as you for games but wife missed out as on 10 points. Got accommodation sorted for last two matches but still to sort first game.

I'll just use this thread, save starting a new one, the title was too narrow in focus anyway.

The BBC opens its coverage with England and more England. Everything through the lens of England and English football as always in both channels, with thon tedious prick Souness served up as our Scottish fitba expert. That weird bird doing the VAR specialist chat sounds like she might be an AI bot.

Games have been decent so far, excluding that opening ceremony friendly. VAR being just as slow and boring in the big tournaments is good to see. Ramadani featuring tonight the obvious tournament highlight so far.

I really enjoyed watching Rama play yesterday. There was a tackle he made midway through the second half which was the exact thing we were missing for most of last season. Well, amongst many other things we were missing too 😂

Just tuned into BBC for the game at 8, been listening for 10 minutes and they haven't mentioned the other team yet, is it Portugal or Czech Republic England are playing tonight?

England v England. Home of football. 1966.

Football saturation is starting to get the better of me, after a long Dons' season. I have managed to watch quite a few, but interest is waning. What I have noticed though, is the number of teams with several players that look absolutely knackered (Scotland very much included). Other than Spain, who pass their opponents to death, and can change their entire team at the drop of a hat, the rest all look like they've had a hard season. Is there too much football these days, given a large proportion of these guys will be playing European groups too? Obviously, we can talk about guys in the sixties playing 463 games without a day off their work, but I'm talking about the modern game, where uber-fitness is the defining feature.

Germany through 2-0 with help of VAR awarded bullshit penalty. Handball rule needs completely rewritten as it’s not fit for purpose. Offside goal Danish lost was another that nobody claimed for and only VAR sees.

VAR needs those decisions though. If it didn't have the make believe handballs and the offsides to a tenth of a millimetre then it'd be in the same boat as goal-line technology, in that it'd only be affecting five decisions a season so nobody would buy it outside the big leagues. There are very few clear and obvious errors. The Porteous decision is the only one I can think of so far in the tournament. Previously there would have been a red administered after the game for that - not the end of the world.

Poor again but luck stays firmly with them.

doesn't even begin to describe it - they were 30 seconds away from going out and equalised in the 95th minute.
